Taj Mahal
Just to the south of the walled city of Agra, lies this magnificent Mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal. Emperor Shah Jahan’s third wife was so beloved by him that his unrelenting grief inspired the construction of one of the 7 Wonders of the World. The very words “Taj Mahal” mean ‘breath of magic’, ‘devotion’, and 'the force of love’. It is indeed one of the most beautiful architectural wonders on Earth. |
