2023 is a year of great change. Following Capricorn as the last traditional sign of 2022, 2023 was greeted by the Sun moving into Aquarius on January 20th just in time to greet the new moon – a time of new beginning.

At the birthing of the new moon, the innovative, non-conformist or rebellious qualities of Uranus-ruled Aquarius were harnessed to create a year very different from the last especially when resisting the old order and speaking out. As new communities are awakening and birthing the true seeds of the Aquarian Age, all come together through envisioning a common goal of nurturing spiritual values, practicing real science, and building a wholistic foundation of mutual cooperation and community.

This year of 2023 in Aquarius awakens - The Light of Truth - “The Light that shines on the Earth, across the sea. This is the light which is forever shining within the dark and cleansing with its healing rays that which must be purified until the dark has gone.” This opens the doorway to the New Dispensation of the Aquarian Age.

The light of truth is now starting to dispel the darkness that has been overshadowing the world. The battle is far from over. Now is the time for us to stand in our power, in our sovereignty, as we wait for the majority of humanity to awaken and realize it. Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius in Taurus, is a major influence in awakening to truth. The job of Uranus, a planet of mystery hidden in the depths, is to awaken and evoke the intuitive response of Taurus to ever-increasing light until such time as full Illumination of the emerging spiritual consciousness occurs. Uranus, which is associated with the light of truth opening up the pathway of the heart in partnership with Taurus, is known as “The Mother of Illumination.

During this time we also have the influence of the 3^rd, 5^th, and 7^th Rays opening new doorways which take us to a place of greater understanding of Uranus, the world in which we live, and our soul’s journey.
