Killarney National Park

Killarney National Park was the first national park in Ireland. Designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1981, Lake Land Killarney is famous for its beautiful lakes. From their shores rise mountain slopes, cloaked by notable forests like Tomies Wood. One of Europe's only remaining pure yew woods can be found here.
