Virgo–Pisces: Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

Complementary to the Moon in Pisces, the Fishes, this moon is called a Sturgeon Moon in North America due to the large number of sturgeon fish found in the Great Lakes around August and September. Males have a lifespan of 55 years, while females can live up to 150 years.

A lunar eclipse in Virgo emphasizes the themes of purification, empowerment, sovereignty, compassion, and health, while the Pisces polarity focuses on introspection, looking within, intuition, and releasing emotional patterns that no longer serve us.

During this full moon, with the Sun in Virgo opposite the Moon in Pisces, there is a line of energy upon the 2nd Ray of Love-Wisdom that passes from Sirius to Pisces, then to Uranus, and finally to the heart center of a disciple, creating an ending while also birthing a new beginning.

We are in a time of sovereignty, truth, freedom, and the evolution of consciousness, awakening our divine connection to a new level. The full moon configuration allows for a greater anchoring of Love-Wisdom on Earth and for humanity to take another step forward as we let go of being victims.

This full moon and eclipse will bring us weather changes, possibly a great deal of flooding, earthquakes, and some volcanic eruptions as the Earth lets go of trauma.

The eclipse brings us emotional endings and important realizations, especially around friendships, community, technology, and our future new beginnings.

It is time for us to focus on letting go of what no longer serves us and giving ourselves space to process our emotions. It is a time of closure and an opening to create room for something better to enter our lives.

It is important for us to remain flexible. The more adaptable we are, the easier it will be to handle any surprises that come our way.
