In Alexandria as we quest we absorb the ancient energies of this sacred place of initiations as we experience the Catacombs, Pompey's Pillar, the Roman Ampitheater and more! Here we will connect with the energies of Mary Magdalene and the awakened energies of the second coming.
The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa are a historical archaeological treasure in Alexandria, and are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. The burial chamber contains a series of Ancient Egyptian tombs, statues, and other archaeological marvels of the Pharaonic funeral cult, with early Imperial Roman and Hellenistic influences. Many of the catacombs' features combine Greek, Roman, and Egyptian cultural styles.
Pompey's Pillar in Alexandria, Egypt, is a Roman column made of red granite, and is the largest of its type built outside of the imperial capitals. It is the only free-standing column in Ancient Roman Egypt and is one of the largest ancient monoliths ever created. Pompey's Pillar has a rich and storied history. The name of the monument comes from middle ages Crusaders who mistakenly believed that the ashes of the Roman general Pompey were in a pot at the top of the column.
The Roman Amphitheatre is perhaps one of the most popular monuments in the city of Alexandria. Located in the heart of Alexandria, the Roman Amphitheatre is considered to be one of the most important Roman architectural achievements in Egypt, but was only discovered by mere coincidence in the year 1960 when workers went to remove a pile of dust to clear land for the development of a government building.
